NeuroQuant automatically labels, visualizes, and volumetrically quantifies segmentable brain structures and lesions from a set of MR images. The outputted volumetric measurements are compared to normative percentile data.
LesionQuant is a module of NeuroQuant that enhances NeuroQuant capabilities by using a T2 FLAIR scan to supplement the 3D T1 scan. Incorporation of T2 FLAIR data allows for improved identification of brain lesions, which are associated with T2 FLAIR hyperintensities.

CorTechs Labs and the Massachusetts General Hospital developed Freesurfer, a software package for the analysis and visualization of structural and functional neuroimaging data widely used for non-commercial internal research and educational purposes. Freesurfer has enabled students and professionals to conduct non-clinical brain analysis research at no cost since 1999. This software was a precursor to all clinical use software for volumetric MRI processing on the market today, including NeuroQuant.
