Lung analysis firm VIDA announced a new strategic partnership with OSF HealthCare that will make VIDA Insights available to care teams across the health system’s Illinois and Michigan locations. VIDA also presented its lung health intelligence solutions at LSI 2021, the emerging medtech summit. Medical 3D printing specialist Axial3D unveiled new case studies, including a fascinating interview with Jenny Zablah, MD, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Interventional Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. In it, she explains the benefits experienced using a 3D model to plan a complex PAPVR case. Axial3D also shared the story of a patient who presented with a hole in the ventricular septum, causing his heart to work harder. A 3D model from Axial3D allowed the physician to confirm the safest option much faster than he could have done without the model. Neuroimaging AI company Cercare Medical announced FDA clearance for its CERCARE Perfusion (MRI) product. The advanced, fully-automated perfusion imaging solution is now available for the U.S. market, providing insights into oxygen delivery and utilization using standard clinical imaging sequences. MaxQ AI received Singapore Health Services Authority (HSA) registration for Accipio Ix, Accipio Ax, and Accipio Dxg. Imaging AI specialist icometrix participated in a webinar hosted by Affidea on state-of-the-art MRI-imaging in dementia, focusing on how to optimize early detection and diagnosis. The company’s VP of clinical trials Annemie Ribbens, presented in AI4Growth’s Health & Medical webinar, focusing on AI applications and value-based care of neurological disorders. In addition to hosting attendees at its virtual booth at ASNR 2021, icometrix also presented an abstract on the reliability of automated measurements of the hippocampus and inferior lateral ventricles volumes at age-sex specific normative thresholds.
