AI-powered breast health solution provider Densitas announced the appointment of Alexandra Bade as its new director of global sales and operations. Blade will lead the company’s global market expansion, joining from Intelerad, where she spent 18 years.

Visualization and analytical solutions developer Imaging Biometrics highlighted a new paper in which IB Neuro, the company’s MR dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) perfusion platform, demonstrated clinical application throughout all phases of brain tumor management.

Medical imaging enhancement specialist Subtle Medical announced a partnership to integrate its SubtleMR image-enhancement software into the MRI machines of Siemens Healthineers, as well as a collaboration with Bayer to explore opportunities to utilize AI to aid in image acquisition in radiology. In addition, Subtle’s founder was recognized for his pioneering work in AI at the Imaging Wire Awards, and the company’s SubtleMR software was the subject of this paper in the American Journal of Neuroradiology.

Computer aided diagnostics company AZmed published the results of a new clinical study dedicated to fracture detection in children. The study involved around 2,600 children and demonstrated the effectiveness of the company’s deep learning algorithm Rayvolve for fracture detection in a pediatric population.

Lung analysis firm VIDA introduced its cloud-based VIDA Intelligence Portal (VIP), a new AI-powered portal that streamlines the challenges often associated with imaging in clinical trials such as site onboarding, staff training, image data management, and data quality. The company also conducted a webinar on the rise of imaging biomarkers in respiratory trials, with renowned pulmonary specialist, Dr Mario Castro.

And finally, lung disease detection AI company Riverain Technologies revealed a new infographic that provides statistics and educational information around lung nodule detection and screening programs.
