AI4MedImaging

AI4MedImaging’s solution, AI4CMR uses artificial intelligence to automate cardiac segmentation and quantification of ventricular volumes, myocardial mass, and ejection fraction of heart ventricles. It produces a structured report to be extracted to any reporting system. It also provides a triage functionality for wall motion detection (this functionality is CE marked and FDA–pending).

AI4MedImaging was founded in 2019 by Cardiologist Dr. Vitor Pereira. Vitor was so frustrated by the lack of CMR applications that would solve his issues, that he started his own company together with an AI development group and backed by Portuguese VC. The application’s first version received its EU-MDR (CE) by 2021, and FDA 510K by 2022.  

AI4MedImaging’s mission is to develop intelligent medical image analysis systems to support clinical decisions.
