A Sales Development Representative to join our highly professional and passionate team. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business leads by establishing contacts with new clients and setting up credible meetings with hospitals and imaging centre groups for our US based sales team. This is a key role to help Blackford achieve their aggressive growth targets in both net new and upsell opportunities

What you will do?

  • Direct prospecting of target sites to identify and qualify new leads through outbound activity
  • Identify, qualify, and create new sales opportunities by responding to Inbound enquiries and marketing leads through Blackford Website, chat and telephone
  • Qualify leads effectively (by using a lead qualification framework e.g. BANT, MEDDIC) for the sales team by clearly identifying their pain points and showing how Blackford’s solutions can provide value.
  • Gain commitment to a meeting with one of the US sales team
  • Act with urgency to engage and qualify inbound leads as quickly as possible
  • Driven to achieve pipeline targets by outbound activities and leveraging content and social selling through LinkedIn
  • Ability to manage and overcome objections


For this role the successful candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge, experience, skills and attributes :

  • Experience in an SDR/appointment setting role for a healthcare IT or radiology-based organization
  • Knowledge of radiology workflow or radiology applications would be a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrable ability to navigate and understand complex decision making in hospital and imaging center enterprises
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets
  • Can-do attitude you need to be a solid contributor to all things Blackford
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with external stakeholders and internal team
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieving business targets with a desire to succeed and meet targets in this role to
